are now accepting One-Act scripts for the

31st Annual Playwright/Director's Workshop

Submission Deadline: April 30, 2025

One-Act scripts accepted:

· No more than 20 minutes in length

· Minimal staging and sets

· Casts of 5 or less preferred

· Play must be unpublished

Submission Guidelines:

·   Submit script by e-mail or snail-mail, to addresses below.

· $20.00 submission fee for each play.

Payment thru PayPal accepted for e-mailed scripts.

 Or send check payable to HTM Players with snail-mailed play(s) to the

P.O. Box shown below.  Include Author and Title on the check.

· Include a title page with the following information:

 Name, Address

Phone number

 E-mail Address

 Approx. length of play. 

Please include title and page number on every page.

· DO NOT put author’s name on any page other than the title page. The plays will be read and selected anonymously.

A $25 Honorarium will be awarded to the author of each accepted and produced play.

Plays will be selected by late June, 2025.

Playwrights will be notified of play(s) selected shortly thereafter.

Selected plays will be performed

LATE SUMMER IN NORTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY.

 Up to 6 plays will be performed.

Adjudication: A representative from the Theatre Association of New York State (TANYS) will adjudicate one performance. Feedback will be given to the playwrights, directors, actors, and the individual productions. Audience members will also participate with anonymous comment sheets. One play may be selected to perform at the TANYS Festival in Nov 2025.
